FAQ

What type of upholstery do you do?

I do antique and modern upholstery. So whether you have an old family heirloom or an armchair you bought new just a few years ago, I can reupholster it for you.

How do I get my furniture to you?

I will either come and pick up your furniture and drop it back to you when its done, or you are welcome to drop it to me if its small enough to get in your car.

How long will you have our furniture for?

I aim to get your furniture back to you within 3 weeks. But it may well be sooner than that.

Do you do loose covers?

If your chair has a separate box cushion or scatter cushions, I will do those for you, but I dont do whole loose covers for armchairs or sofas.

Do you have fabric accounts?

No I dont. I dont have the room to store lots of fabric swatch books. But I can point you in the right direction and help you with your fabric choices. Then once you know what you want, you order the amount I have specified on your estimate. You can then have it delivered straight to me or I can pick it up when I pick up your furniture.

What sort of fabric do I need

You will need Upholstery grade fabric. Check the Martindale score it has or its Rub count. Ideally you need it to be 30,000 rubs or more so it's nice and hard wearing.
